The 4 week Starter Experience (Focus on Change) is all about gaining a positive experience working with a personal trainer who will listen and guide you through the best options for you to reach your long term health, fitness or nutritional goals.

We have 4 focus on Change Programmes

A fantastic opportunity to really get to know us on a personal level, gain confidence in a gym and class environment and importantly help you start your journey the right way.

What to do Next?

  • Register and pay £99 online, complete the correct screening form for your current needs with as much detail as possible and then book your first personal training appointment and induction with one of our team.

  • Please view our availability here . If you have problems booking we know not everyone loves tech! then do give us a ring 0114 236 2129 and we will book for you.

  • We will chat and go through your aims goals and your main focus. Plus we will show you around the gym and how to get acquainted with all the equipment.

  • Wear comfy clothes and trainers as baseline measurements will be taken inc. Blood pressure, Pulse, height, measurements (weight and body fat % if appropriate)

  • Nutrition will be discussed with the main aim of promoting realistic strategies that you can adopt to fit in with your lifestyle - no faddy or elimination diets encouraged - just real food, for real people. Your aim may not be to lose weight but we will discuss the benefits of increasing protein to enhance exercise performance and recovery.

  • At the end of your 55 min session we will book your next appointment.

  • To make use of the gym and classes take a look at the timetable here and book a combination of gym and class sessions as many sessions as you would like.

  • * Please note a word of caution. If you haven’t exercised for a while, please take it steady booking 5 sessions a week in the first week is not a good idea!

Because we want you to gain valuable information from your experience you will receive a fantastic Focus on Change PDF resource which will guide you through your journey - giving nutritional options and advice exercises and quick recipes ideas.

Once you have complete your 4 weeks, together with your trainer you can decide the next stage in your health and fitness journey. Recommendations are given at the end and guidance given to help you choose the best personal membership or program to suit your goals.

If we feel you are not quite ready for personal training we will discuss other options you may wish to consider. Sometimes the time is just not right to start a program and that is ok, you will have the principles and core values of Kate Campbell fitness and when you are ready we will be here to welcome you with unwavering support.
