Inspired by the many mums I have supported over the years as a midwife and antenatal and postnatal trainer
I’ve developed this 12-session exercise programme to enable you to remain active during your pregnancy…not only to support and maintain your strength, mobility and cardiovascular fitness, but also to support mental well-being at a time of great change.
This programme will allow you to safely move through the trimesters adapting and modifying exercises as your pregnancy progresses.
How you use this guide is personal preference workouts can be performed once a week or combined. A training planner is provided as a guide.

Daily pelvic floor exercises are actively encouraged, and Pilates will allow for improved mobility to reduce the many niggles associated with pregnancy postural changes.
By taking the time to work through the exercises I hope you will gain valuable knowledge, which in turn will give you the confidence to trust your body and continue to exercise throughout your pregnancy
