POSTNATAL POWER
Following on from the [foundation] course, Postnatal Power is the perfect progressive class to help you achieve your long term fitness goals.

Regaining strength and confidence takes time and commitment. The combination of exercises will activate your entire body to work efficiently hard without the risk of injury.
You will be led by Carla and Shannon expert experienced Postnatal personal trainers who have their own areas of expertise. Carla is our buggy bootcamp and run coach. Shannon sports therapist movement and massage specialist. Helping you exercise safely at the same time as prescribing exercises to alleviate aches and pains.
The Class
Commitment and regular attendance is important. To feel the gains a minimum of 6 weeks is recommended.
We recommend attendance from 12 weeks post-birth.
If you are less than 12 weeks I would highly recommend attending the postnatal foundation course first. or Focus on change 1-1 Postnatal Personal training to ensure you are ready to progress.
NOTE You can also attend at any stage of your postnatal journey whether you’re 6 months or a year post birth. Having a regular class to attend each week will enable progressive strength, CV fitness and ongoing pelvic floor and core strength and will most definitely benefit all of you who place value on the importance of safe fun postnatal specific training and support.
What to expect
The exercise session will be led for 30 minutes
This class is split into 3 main areas of progression: Movement Core and Strength in a circuit style class held in the gym and studio.
You will develop a real sense of achievement every week as exercises are combined with kettlebells, hand weights, TRX equipment and movement progression with the aim of getting you stronger, increase your cardiovascular fitness and core strength helping you get a step closer to reaching your own specific fitness goals.
You will have full use of the gym and time after the session to chat to other mums, swap numbers and build a strong friendship support network.
Keep Mums Fit girls are friends for life and many of my previous clients are still in contact with the girls they met at Keep Mums Fit classes.

Before you attend please ensure the postnatal screening form has been completed. This will be reviewed before the class starts
Class Dates and Prices
The class will run throughout the year in line with the school holidays.
Fridays 09.30am
Booking is easy PAYG available £7 per class or 12 for 10 Class credits
FREE for those on Focus on fitness flex or Pro Personal training membership.
Parking
There is plenty of parking in the car park which is situated below the Miller and Carter steakhouse down the drive next to the cricket ground.
Covid safe: You will have exclusive full use of the gym along with the other mums and babies masks are not required. On entrance there is a hand sanitiser and cloths for cleaning equipment.
