Congratulations, for nine months your body underwent the amazing task of growing a baby so a big high five from me.

I’ve done it twice! and each time new stretch marks appeared, my boobs inflated and deflated! My back objected! my knees got crunchier and my weight fluctuated!

But at 47 I’m stronger fitter and leaner than I was before I had my beautiful girls.

Getting your body back after birth is often seen as something that has to be done, a non negotiable and something all women want. Whether its media influence or your own desire. Returning to exercise after having a baby is often on women’s minds, whether you are a seasoned exerciser pre pregnancy or not.

The truth is it takes time …building a strong foundation from the start will allow your body to heal, to adapt and function without pain and to progress without fear.

When I was midwife and now even more so as an experienced expert in the field of postnatal recovery, the question I get asked the most is ‘Kate how soon after birth can I start exercising again?’

You’ve told us you love flexibility …especially our Personal training clients who can still exercise at home even when their kids are off school or nursery. They just jump on a zoom call and train at home.

Our program and pathways will allow you to nurture your body the right way, feel confident knowing the correct exercises to do during each stage of your postnatal recovery and importantly improve strength, core stability and CV fitness.
